Pharmacological action
Bromadialone, which is part of the drug, is an anticoagulant poison with a wide spectrum of action. The action of the substance is based on the inhibition of prothrombin in the liver of pests, as well as a decrease in its concentration in the blood. When ingested, bromadialone slows down the process of blood clotting, increases the permeability of blood vessels, thereby leading to the death of a rodent from severe bleeding. Death after the use of poison occurs on the 3rd – 7th day.

Application
The poison is used to rid farms and farms of rodents (mice, rats). In premises intended for keeping animals (pigsties, cowsheds, stables, etc.), poison must be placed in places inaccessible to them to prevent poisoning. The drug is laid out on the floor only if the animals are in cages, in fenced pens, on a leash or in stalls. In places intended for the storage of agricultural products, the bait is laid out in open places. The death of rodents that have eaten poison occurs on the 3rd – 7th day.

Dosage

It is necessary to lay out the bait with tongs or rubber baits. Complete death of pests should occur after 4 weeks of using the drug.

Do not store the bait indoors near animal feed and drinking water. It is strictly forbidden to leave the bait indoors or outdoors where animals are freely available.

Carrying out pest baiting should be carried out without the presence of domestic or farm animals, strangers and small children. The beginning of the 1970s, apparently, became a milestone, when the killing of animals by children (for personal gain, in the interests of the national economy or for educational purposes) lost its positive or neutral connotation and acquired either a negative character or began to be hushed up.

There have been a lot of games in the Warhammer universe lately, but only a few of them attract attention. Among projects for mobile phones and tactical projects of different quality levels, Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide stands apart. Dark bloody game about cutting monsters with swords and axes. The game was released by Fatshark at the end of last year. Behind the developers already had a network action game War of the Roses about medieval battles. The project is extremely hardcore, which is why it is interesting. The new game is built around a completely different concept and does not burden the difficulties in owning weapons.

Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide is originally designed for co-op, but also supports single player mode. The overall concept is reminiscent of Left 4 Dead. There are several heroes that move around the map through crowds of enemies, support each other and perform joint actions. But since everything happens in a fantasy environment of the late Middle Ages, the weapons of the characters match the setting.

Dwarf wields an ax and uses a crossbow as a secondary weapon, a witch hunter scatters waves of enemies with a sword and shoots back with two pistols, a soldier in armor brings death with a blade and a musket. There is an archer with daggers and a sorceress with magical powers. Each character is individual in appearance, in character and style of combat. The short-legged dwarf differs markedly from the nimble archer in both movement and fighting style. In this regard, the game offers a more serious differentiation in comparison with the same Left 4 Dead.

The missions are connected by the same plot. The city of Ubersreik has been infested with oversized rats called skaven. These creatures, armed with cold weapons, occupied all the streets and neighborhoods. In the tavern, which is still impregnable thanks to magic, a company of heroes has gathered. This haven replaces the boring game menu. In the tavern, you perform all actions with the arsenal and prepare for the task by choosing the next clearing point on the map. This is where you return with your co-op teammates for a break between missions.

The missions themselves can be played randomly within the same act. After completing all the tasks, a new act and a group of new missions will open. Different difficulty modes and the possibility of a single player allow you to get comfortable with the situation in order to later try your hand at missions as part of a team of real players.

The heroes cooperate not only to exterminate the skaven. Each task offers its own tasks and goals. Somewhere you need to get supplies, somewhere you need to protect the wells. That is, tactics can be built around protecting objects or carrying them. For example, on the pier you need to collect barrels of gunpowder. They are scattered across a complex multi-story level, which is periodically splashed by waves of monsters. Our team is trying to fight them off, collect all the barrels and deliver them to the ship.

Some missions can look very linear, driving us through a maze of city streets or dungeons. But such episodes within the same mission are also often combined with the task of extracting supplies or some kind of phased destruction of the mechanism. The latter requires the gradual destruction of supports or chains, each of which must be fought through.

Each race is unique in its own way. Enemies are randomly generated. There are some key points where they are present without fail, but the general development of the situation cannot be predicted. Skaven can attack sluggishly in small units, and then suddenly splash out of all the cracks, rolling like waves of the sea.

Opponents are not the same type. Some are better armed and partially covered by armor. There are unique monsters. A special skaven grabs the hero with a horn and pulls him to the side, exposing his relatives to the blows. A frisky jumper with blades instantly knocks the hero to the ground in case of a successful jump and then shreds him with rapture. There is a huge muscular skaven bull who scatters everyone around with his fists. There are enemies armed with poison bombs.

It’s not hard to guess that they all resemble monsters from the Left 4 Dead dilogy. From a number of such clones, only a machine gunner stands out. There were no zombies with automatic weapons in the Valve game.

There are also patrols of armored guard rats. With their halberds, these can quickly deal with the whole company of rat vivisectors if they fail to find the right tactics.

Each special opponent requires a special approach, although in many ways the outcome of the confrontation still depends only on reaction speed and accuracy. The mutual assistance of the players is important. If you play with computer partners, they will also help each other. But with them it is more difficult to implement complex actions when you need to collect something or interact simultaneously with different objects on the map. Artificial intelligence acts more carefully than real people. Real players sometimes take risky steps, this can have both a negative and a positive effect. Separate levels and high complexity require extremely well-coordinated work and maintaining a certain composure when, in the heat of hand-to-hand combat, you need to remember about the team and monitor the overall situation on the battlefield.

Combat system without unnecessary tricks. There is a simple and lingering blow, there is a block, there is an auxiliary ranged weapon. Further, everything depends on the player’s ability to use the features of each fighter, skillfully supporting his partner with fire from afar or covering their backs in close combat. As you progress through the level, you can get medical supplies and bombs. Their number is always limited, and untimely use may end up with nothing but a sword at hand at the most opportune moment. With ranged weapons, you also need to be moderate, and not waste ammunition for how much.

All this stimulates more thoughtful use of additional weapons and more careful study of nooks and crannies. Even if the level seems to be linear, there are always small branches and nooks and crannies that can lead to both an unexpected encounter with new enemies, and some kind of cache of supplies.

Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide has a complete leveling and development system. As a result of the successful completion of the mission, there is a chance to knock out some new item of ammunition in the dice mini-game. In the tavern, you can improve and forge new items from old ones. Development is extremely slow. Among the randomly dropped items, not all are useful; forging resources are extremely necessary. But the value of each new element of the arsenal is higher from this.

Among the advantages of the game is a high level of graphic performance. The game looks nice and atmospheric – gloomy well-designed levels, detailed monsters and fountains of blood.

A certain minus of the game is connected with the visual performance. In the conditions of a dark picture with abundant splashes of blood, it is sometimes difficult to understand what is happening. Yes, and the skaven often mix into one mess, sometimes even passing through each other.

When the graphics quality is set to high, the game offers TAA, which along the way reduces the sharpness of details. And in dark scenes of the same type, this effect only intensifies. Therefore, it is better to manually change TAA to FXAA – the smoothing of ladders at the edges of objects will be worse, but the overall image clarity is higher.

Let’s summarize. Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide is a very solid action game with an emphasis on cooperative play. The game borrows many of the ideas from Left 4 Dead, but presents it all in a different style. And for all its similarity, Vermintide is perceived quite distinctively. Missions are connected by one plot, and if desired, the player can play in single player mode. Although such a passage will not give all the sensations. The game will turn into a solid “meat”, and it will be more difficult for the player to complete tasks alone that require clear interaction with partners. This mode is just a warm-up before full-fledged gaming races with a team of random or proven comrades. Repeated playthroughs give new sensations thanks to the random generation of enemies. And even objects to collect each time appear in new places. Therefore, each new game will develop unexpectedly. So from Vermintide came out a very worthy and interesting product for fans of cooperative games. Players who prefer well-thought-out story-driven adventures with a variety of gameplay can get their share of new experiences, but they will quickly get bored.
