A $70.4million Malibu beachfront mansion

Kim has reportedly spent $70. 4million Malibu home that previously belonged to Cindy Crawford, and has more recently been home to Yellowstone star Barret Swatek and her husband Adam Weiss.

The incredible estate was listed for $99.5million in March – more than double the $45million that Cindy and her husband Rande Gerbe sold it for in 2018. It is the highest-price home sold in Malibu in 2022 and the fourth highest in California, and it’s easy to see why Kim couldn’t resist snapping it up.

According to TopTenRealEstateDeals.com, the residence itself spans 7,450 square feet and is designed to take advantage of the beautiful views, with several terraces and expansive decks ideal for entertaining. Kim and her former husband Kanye West bought their family home for $20million, and it is now worth an estimated $60million after significant renovation work. Rapper Kanye worked with Axel Vervoordt to design the interiors for the home, which Kim has previously described as a “minimal monastery” in its style. The pared-back décor is white, cream and grey throughout, with wooden accents, including in their open-plan kitchen, dining and living room.

Following their divorce, Kim paid Kanye $23million for his share of the mansion, where she continues to live with their children – North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm.

Kim is currently selling her three-bedroom, four-bathroom property in Calabasas, which she bought in 2017. It was remodelled by architect Vincent Van Duysen as a birthday gift from Kim’s former husband Kanye West, and the resulting minimalistic aesthetic is similar to the décor in the house she continues to live in following their divorce.

Highlights of the home include an open-concept great room with a gourmet kitchen, a covered deck with an additional outdoor living area, and resident access to amenities including guest parking, a pool and spa, fitness center and barbecue area, at the cost of $685 per month.

The 41-year-old is also hoping to sell another home from her property portfolio; a 1950s ranch home that she bought for $3million in 2019. Kim has never lived in the residence, but continues to live nearby with her four children.

A new-build Palm Springs home

Kim has enlisted prize-winning architect Tadao Ando to build a new home on a site she owns at La Quinta’s Madison Club in Palm Springs, where her mum Kris Jenner and sister Kourtney Kardashian also have holiday homes.

The Skims founder described the design as “concrete, grey-toned, and really zen,” but is yet to reveal any further details.

A secret lakeside home

Speaking to Vogue, Kim has previously revealed that she has enlisted another acclaimed Japanese architects to design another one-of-a-kind home in a secret lakeside location. Kengo Kuma, who designed the 2020 Tokyo Olympics National Stadium, is creating a “glass-and-wood lake house” in a destination she is said to visit to celebrate the Fourth of July each year.

But while they lived there, they were building the internet-breaking mansion in Hidden Hills that we’ve all probably heard about. The dream home has 8-bedrooms, 10-bathrooms, and as some of you know, Kim added a basketball court for Kanye’s birthday. They are also installing a large body of water to create a pond for Kanye to swim in – as if the two pools aren’t good enough! The pond is scheduled to be installed in the backyard; however, they live in a gated community and could face some challenges during construction.

The house stands on a hill in the prestigious Encinal Bluffs area and used to belong to a super model Cindy Crawford, who still lives next door. The villa originally sold for $99 million, but even now it is the most expensive Malibu home sold this year and the fourth most expensive in the entire state of California.

7,450 square feet (692. 13 sq. meters) and stands on a plot of 3.2 acres (1.29 ha). On the ground floor there is a large open plan common space that combines the living room, dining room and kitchen (a true paradise for gourmets and cooks!). The other day it became known that Kanye West bought a house next to the estate of his ex-wife Kim Kardashian. The artist’s new property is located across the street from the mansion where he once lived with his family in Hidden Hills, Los Angeles County, California. That’s just in terms of comfort, this dwelling of a musician cannot be compared with what he is used to. But love is evil – you won’t go to any lengths to impress the stubborn Kim.

According to Dirt, the rapper bought the ranch from an ordinary family that has owned the land since 1955. Kanye paid $4.5 million for the lot and the house. And he obviously overpaid: the house is an unremarkable one-story building with an area of 335 square meters. It has four bedrooms and three bathrooms. The design of the mansion has long been outdated, the last time repairs were made in it in the 80s of the last century. The only place that looks more or less modern is the kitchen: relatively new furniture and appliances have been installed in it, including a dishwasher and an oven. In the courtyard there is an extension for servants and a swimming pool, and a stable occupies a significant part of the site. Unlike the fashionable estate of Kim Kardashian, this house is just an example of minimalism and modesty. Most likely, West will have to seriously invest in repairs before he dares to settle in this house.

Kanye announced his dream of bringing back Kim at the annual Thanksgiving charity event in Los Angeles, which is celebrated on November 25 in the US.
