Phil and Lee both worked at our house fitting brand new doors throughout our house.
Both were extremely friendly and helpful throughout working with us and i couldn’t recommend enough. For the services that they provide it is well worth the money as they went above and beyond and provided the highest quality of work.

Handyman England
Handyman Liverpool, England
Handyman Handymen – Blue collar workers
Klose started out as a carpenter, and Stuart Pierce as an electrician: the working professions of football players the level of the base of the top club.
However, this was not always the case.
Supported by service Domer , we talk about football players who had to go through working professions before becoming famous.
Stuart Pearce – electrician
Long-term captain of Nottingham Forest and the England team (later scored against Dynamo for Newcastle and now helps Moyes at West Ham) was not at the club at the beginning of his career confident in your prospects.
For this reason, he worked as an electrician, and actively sold himself: he shot entire commercials and even placed ads in the pre-match programs of the club.
“It was a hard time. In my club, training was twice a week plus a match – mostly on Sunday. And between trips because of football, I had to get up at three or four in the morning, take tools and very often work shifts of 24 hours. When I came to quit because of signing a professional contract, my boss said: “If you suddenly don’t succeed, you are an excellent employee and you can always return. ”
Volodymyr Adamyuk – electrician
Pierce’s Ukrainian colleague can be called Dnipro-1 defender Volodymyr Adamyuk.
He combined work as an electrician with a game for the amateur team “Krono-Karpaty”: “At the same time, he studied to be an electrician and went to work in the RES (district electrical networks, a production unit in the structure of the regional energy company of the energy system – approx.). I changed apartment electric meters, did a technical check. So Adamyuk worked for three years until he moved to Krymteplitsa.
Miroslav Klose – carpenter
Yes, you read it right: the best scorer in the history of the World Cup and the German national team also started his career as an ordinary worker. He trained as a carpenter’s assistant, but soon moved to Homburg and took up football in earnest.
This is how the German himself recalls this period: “I wanted to be a worker. When a house was being built and a crane lifted the roof beams into the air, this fascinated me. I completed my carpentry apprenticeship with a 99 out of 100. After a few months as an apprentice, I moved to Homburg, and since then only played football
Charlie Austin – bricklayer
Charlie Austin looked into the Premier League with QPR, Southampton and literally last season with West Brom (and recently knocked Everton out of the League Cup with the same QPR). And the path to this began with the laying of bricks, until they were called to Swindon.
It all started with my father’s job: “My father owned a construction company in the south, and I left school, and that’s it – I went to work for him. I enjoyed doing it from Monday to Friday and playing football on the weekends. I think that gave me the foundation, and, silly joke, laid the foundation.”
Enric Gallego – air conditioner installer
An amazing story from Spain – forward Enric Gallego only managed to get a professional contract at the La Liga club when he was over 30 years old. Before that, he was a football player who played in amateur leagues, where he constantly scored a lot of goals.
Gallego replaced several more Catalan clubs, continued to work in parallel (first at a construction site, then as an installer of air conditioners) and only at 27 fully concentrated on football. And four years later he managed to move to Huesca, which had just entered the top division. After that, his career was very productive – debut in La Liga, transfer to Getafe, Osasuna and Tenerife.
“I used to have to get up at 6, work all day and only then train,” Gallego said. – Now I wake up and immediately go to training – this is already a dream that I want to extend. Doing what you love most and making money doing it is incredibly valuable.”
Ian Wright – bricklayer and plasterer
Former England player, champion and Arsenal’s second-best scorer at 16 could not have dreamed of such a thing.
After leaving school, he trained as a bricklayer and plasterer, while looking for ways to play football. True, then there was an arrest for 2 weeks for driving a car without insurance, and he got into his first club only six years later.
Mike Franz – house painter
Mike Franz has played more than 250 matches in the professional divisions of Germany for Freiburg and Nuremberg, but he could well work in a completely different profession.
Franz was 15 years old when he became a professional house painter to help his family. And for about five years he was engaged in this business at various construction sites in parallel with training, until he finally decided to connect himself with football completely. Years later, teammates call him “Iron Mike” – also due to the character earned in his youth at a regular job.
Hub Stevens – locksmith
One of the most powerful football coaches in Germany in the 90s and the first decade of the 2010s, Hub Stevens was born into an ordinary working-class family, where football was not particularly considered as a means of earning money. But when the opportunity arose to learn to be a locksmith, Hub did not particularly doubt that he would continue his life in this vein.
But he did not manage to work for a long time in a working profession: his skills in the center of defense were still appreciated in the local “Fortuna”. And many people would dream of such a career – three times the champion of the Netherlands as a football player and winner of the UEFA Cup, both as a player and as a coach.
***
Of course, it is currently not possible to order the services of Stuart Pierce and Miroslav Klose as house masters. But , Domer , in the literal sense, “makes a difference” in the market for minor home repairs, no less skillfully than the aforementioned players on the football field. And when you need a master of the same level, you will not need to look for it if you download the Domer mobile application right now, because it is:
- the most simple and fast way to solve technical problems without extra time ;
- meticulously formed team of specialists with a well-established composition professional craftsmen ;
